Lisa is a board-certified geriatric nurse practitioner and the medical director at Desert Agape. She has over 26 years of experience in the assisted living, long-term care and hospice settings. She obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing from Arizona State University in 1997, and year later earned her master’s degree (as a geriatric nurse practitioner) from Vanderbilt University. In 2015, she acquired her doctorate degree (in nursing practice) from the University of Colorado. Lisa has a wealth of knowledge and expertise – both in patient care and management. She worked 26 years for Optum Health. In addition to having vast experience in the field with direct patient care, she has also served as a clinical advisor, clinical service manager, director of clinical operations, and most recently, worked in client management with United Health’s outside chain partners in the long-term care setting.
